Το Περιφερειακό Γυμνάσιο και Λύκειο Λευκάρων συνεχίζει την ενεργό συμμετοχή σε Ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα δίνοντας την ευκαιρία στους μαθητές του να διευρύνουν τους ορίζοντες τους αποκτώντας μια πολύτιμη εμπειρία ζωής. Βασικές προτεραιότητες του προγράμματος Erasmus+ είναι οι: ένταξη και πολυμορφία, ψηφιακός μετασχηματισμός, περιβάλλον και καταπολέμηση της κλιματικής αλλαγής, συμμετοχή στον δημοκρατικό βίο, κοινές αξίες και συμμετοχή των πολιτών στα κοινά. Στο πλαίσιο συμμετοχής του σχολείου μας στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, το οποίο χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, σχέδιο δράσης του είναι η ανάπτυξη των αγροτικών περιοχών, διατηρώντας αναλλοίωτη την πολιτιστική και φυσική κληρονομιά μέσα από καινοτόμες εναλλακτικές δράσεις σε παραγωγή και τουρισμό, που προάγουν την ευαισθησία και απασχολησιμότητα. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να διερευνήσουν τη χρήση βιώσιμων πράσινων πρακτικών στην παραγωγή και τον τουρισμό, να αναπτύξουν επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες σημαντικές για τον επαγγελματικό τους προσανατολισμό, να εκτιμήσουν τις δυνατότητες της υπαίθρου, να υποστηρίξουν τις τέχνες και τον πολιτισμό ως μέσα βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης και βελτίωσης της ποιότητας ζωής. Οι δραστηριότητες στοχεύουν στην ενίσχυση της περιβαλλοντικής συνείδησης και εκτίμηση της βιοποικιλότητας, ενισχύοντας παράλληλα τον ρόλο των μαθητών ως υπεύθυνων Ευρωπαϊων πολιτών.

“My Erasmus experience was amazing! Personally, this experience was something unprecedented, the idea of staying in another person’s house that I hadn’t met before was really something else but ended up loving. The entire trip, with friends and teachers, travelling to a destination unknown yet attractive, was truly worth it. In Italy, San Severo we met a similar yet quite different culture and way of life. We visited sights, which I do not think we would have had the chance to do so, if it wasn’t for this programme. Also, I managed to form relationships with people whom I hope will keep in touch with. Through this programme I met Davide and Alfonso, boys whom Eleni and I hosted and vice versa. I will forever treasure the moments we all spent together. “My Erasmus experience was dreamlike! The opportunity I had to visit faraway places, accompanied by dear friends, was wonderful. Even though I was reluctant at first, I can surely say that Alfonso and his family made me feel welcomed and comfortable since day one. Our daily schedule included a variety of activities through which we were able to gain all-round knowledge. I was able to socialise easily and meet a new culture and way of life. One of the most memorable moments was our visit to Bari, a beautiful city near San Severo with beautiful scenery. “Our Erasmus+ experience started in November 2023 when a group of students from Italy visited Cyprus for a week. Personally, it was my first time participating in a similar programme. At first, I was very shy but in the end we all became friends. In March 2024, it was our turn to visit Italy. I learned about the Italian culture and lifestyle. The whole programme and overall experience was very interesting and unique. We learned to speak Italian and taught the Italian students a few Greek words. “Going on a trip is an exciting experience and even better when you travel abroad to get there. On our trip we had the opportunity to experience adventure and discover lots of new things we would have never known before or get to know about a new destination or have the chance to visit it. We attended a foreign school where we saw how the French educational system works and we participated in workshops gaining new knowledge as we spent our time productively. Moreover, spending time with my correspondent’s family allowed me to learn more about their culture, be a member of their family and tried a completely different lifestyle from mine. “On 28th November, one of the most important trips of my life began. We travelled to France with the Erasmus team and there we met our French friends. The entire trip was so much fun. We visited lots of places, created unforgettable memories and were introduced to the French culture. We met the lifestyle and for me, the most amazing thing was the architecture, the various buildings and the school. We joined lots if interesting workshops about Biology and Europe. Our correspondents treated us really nicely and tried to show us as much as possible.
